A Final Two Days in the Making

Wednesday’s semi-final needed extra time to settle. England led through Anthony Gordon ten minutes into the second half, before Lionel Messi, at 39, produced two assists in six second-half minutes: Enzo Fernández’s equaliser in the 85th, then a cross for substitute Lautaro Martínez to head home in stoppage time.
