Interbet is a Cape Town bookmaker run by Interbet International (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in 2000, under Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board bookmaker licence 10083472-023. It also holds a manufacturer licence from the same board: Interbet runs on its own software, certified by the South African Bureau of Standards under SANS 1718.
What stands out
- Six voucher brands top up an account: OTT, 1Voucher, Easyload, Blu Voucher, 4 All and Interbet’s own voucher from SavvySaver.
- Deposits work through Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.
- Automated local withdrawals reach your bank account in 2 to 3 hours.
- Alongside the fixed-odds sportsbook, Interbet runs a separate betting exchange.
Deposits and withdrawals
Voucher deposits redeem instantly and are capped at R3,000 a day. Bank cards, Ozow instant EFT (including a Capitec option), ordinary EFT through the five major banks and walk-in bank deposits work too. Interbet charges no fees on most deposit methods.
FICA is mostly automatic. Your South African ID number is verified the moment you register, and proof of address is only checked once you ask for your first withdrawal. Withdrawals start at R100 and go back to the account your deposit came from. The first one can take 24 to 48 hours; after that, local payouts run automatically. Card withdrawals take 2 to 3 business days. Interbet charges nothing for withdrawals, though your bank may.
Odds and markets
On the competitions OddsBash tracks, we scan Interbet’s match result and total-goals prices on soccer, and match results on tennis, cricket and rugby. Its soccer pages carry half-line totals at 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 goals, whole-line totals that refund on a tie, and a banded total-goals market.
The margin and coverage figures above are measured from odds Interbet actually published. They refresh with every scan.
Good to know
- When Interbet suspends a price, the odds button disappears from the page rather than greying out.
- There is a free Interbet betting app, downloadable from the site.
- Interbet also carries casino games and Aviator. OddsBash measures the sportsbook only.
