BetOlimp is run by OLIMP (Pty) Ltd, licensed by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board. Withdrawals settle on the next business day once approved: there is no instant tier, and at least a quarter of the linked deposit needs to be staked first.
What stands out
- Prices more than 30 sports, but carries no horse racing.
- Deposits run through Visa and Mastercard cards, Ozow instant EFT, plain bank transfer, and OTT or 1Voucher vouchers.
- No instant withdrawal tier: transfers go out on the next business day once approved, and need at least 25% of the linked deposit staked first.
- Voucher deposits, 1Voucher and OTT, must be played through in full before any withdrawal, with no refund available on either.
Deposits and withdrawals
Visa and Mastercard cards, Ozow instant EFT, plain bank transfer and two voucher brands, OTT and 1Voucher, all appear in BetOlimp’s payment footer. No minimum deposit figure is published anywhere on the site or in its terms.
The minimum online withdrawal is R50. At least 25% of a deposit has to be staked before any withdrawal against it can be processed, and refunds carry a 10% admin charge; 1Voucher and OTT voucher deposits get no refund at all and must be staked in full first. Once a withdrawal is confirmed, BetOlimp settles it on the next business day, not the same one.
Odds and markets
On the competitions OddsBash tracks, we scan BetOlimp’s match-result and total-goals prices on soccer, and two-way winner markets on tennis and rugby.
Soccer Over/Under lines run at the usual 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 and 3.5 goal marks, though the 0.5 line is missing on some events. MMA is priced as a three-way market with a draw option rather than the two-way lines used elsewhere in the fleet, so OddsBash doesn’t track it.
The margin and coverage figures aboveare measured from odds BetOlimp actually published, and they refresh with every scan.
Good to know
- Single transactions above R24,999 trigger FICA identity checks; verification runs on a certified ID, passport or driver’s licence, submitted in person or by email.
- The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board licence carries no published licence number anywhere on BetOlimp’s site; only the OLIMP (Pty) Ltd company registration number appears.
- BetOlimp also runs a numbers game, Lucky Numbers, and casino products including live-dealer tables and Spribe’s Aviator. OddsBash measures the sportsbook only.
