ReadySetBet is a South African sportsbook operated by Kalmia Trading 1085 (Pty) Ltd, licensed by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator under licence 9-2-1-09973. It is the 2026 platform rebrand of Soccershop, a brand with roots back to LM Bookmaker, founded in 1995: the Soccershop retail division opened in 2011, its online platform followed in 2015, and the ReadySetBet rebrand landed in 2026 on an entirely new betting platform.
What Stands Out
- Our own readings found ReadySetBet pricing a full UFC 329 card, a market Soccershop’s old platform never carried at all under any competition.
- We see ReadySetBet price football, rugby, tennis and cricket against the same platform-wide catalogue as 10bet, another book we track.
- Every deposit method on the site, from BluVoucher to Apple Pay, shares the same R5 minimum and lands instantly.
- Soccershop’s retail network carries over unchanged: 11 branches across Gauteng, Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Card, voucher and EFT deposits all start from R5 and land instantly. The list runs to BluVoucher, OTT Voucher, 1Voucher and 4ALL Voucher, Visa and Mastercard (direct or via WalletDoc), Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and EFT through OZOW, Capitec Pay and WalletDoc. Cards and EFT stretch up to R250,000 a transaction; vouchers cap lower, around R2,500 to R3,000. A slower route survives too: manual EFT into one of five named ReadySetBet bank accounts (FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, ABSA, Capitec), using your Account ID as the payment reference, with no minimum published.
Withdrawals mostly clear instantly as well. FNB eWallet and Standard Bank Instant Money pay out from R300 up to R3,000, Nedbank iMali from R300 up to R4,000, and EFT via OZOW, WalletDoc or OTT from R100 up to R200,000. A plain bank transfer is the exception, taking up to 24 hours. Every withdrawal method stays switched off until account verification, ReadySetBet’s FICA step, is complete.
Odds and Markets
On the competitions OddsBash tracks, we read ReadySetBet’s match result and total-goals prices on football, and two-way match winners on sports without a draw. The margin and coverage figures above are measured from odds ReadySetBet actually published, and refresh with every read.
Good to Know
- The old soccershop.bet domain now redirects straight to readysetbet.co.za: same operator, a different platform entirely.
- ReadySetBet shares its odds platform with 10bet, another book OddsBash tracks separately under its own brand and licence.
- No native app: we found no App Store or Google Play link anywhere on the site, only the mobile website.
- ReadySetBet also runs casino games, including an Aviator-style crash title and a lottery product it calls Lucky Numbers. OddsBash measures the sportsbook only.
